BareMinerals Foundation

Suffering from acne or any other flaws of the skin can leave us women feeling self conscious. Worrying about how others see you can often be reflected in what people perceive as part of our personality.  You may shy away from pictures or not be as charismatic because you’re self conscience when the camera gets close. You may wear your hair in your face to cover an imperfection or only feel comfortable wearing hats when you know you’ll be out in the sun and heaven forbid not wearing make-up (pool/beach side ring a bell).

I can remember camping as a teenager and getting teased because I would wake up and immediately start putting on make-up to cover up my skin… Blemished, imperfect skin is something I have struggled with since adolescents. My skin is finally manageable now that I’m making a few wiser choices. Always moisturizing and using sun block of course (things I wish I would have taken a lil more seriously when I was younger), trying my hardest not to sleep in make-up (although I don’t feel as bad when it does happen now using natural skin foundation rather than oily or synthetic products), not using my nails to pick at my face (you all know you do it every once in awhile, just use tissue if you must), and as I briefly touched on .. Using natural products that are always less traumatic to the skin ( bareEssentuals has a great blemish therapy with sulfur as the active ingredient and it works wonders)

BareMinerals foundation is pure, it’s SPF, and it truly is amazing coverage. How can you not adore it? I have scars, occasional bumps, and some discoloration yet I get compliments on my skin on a regular basis. Now, I am normally all for a bargain and this is not the cheapest powder out there but I am a devout customer and do not use anything else. It is one of those products definitely worth the splurge.
